Bio:
Dr. Meng Qiu is an Assistant Professor of Quantitative Methods, Measurement, and Statistics at the University of California, Merced. His research interests span the areas of Bayesian statistics, mixture modeling, causal inference, and real applications. The topics he has worked on and published include: latent class analysis; Dirichlet process; structural equation model; mixture model; bootstrap methods; nonnormal distribution; and missing data. Dr. Qiu is also interested in applying quantitative techniques to behavioral and psychological data and collaborating with his peers to address issues in developmental studies.
