Graduate student Kay Kim and Professor Jan Wallander find influence of parent involvement on teens' weight

In a paper recently published in the journal Obesity, health psychology graduate student Kay Kim and Professor Jan Wallander found that parents' monitoring and general awareness of their adolscents' activities has effects on adolescents' weight and weight-related activities. These findings, which have received broader media attention, could inform interventions to improve teens' weight-related behaviors.
