Congratulations to doctoral candidate Jennifer Mendiola and her coauthors for writing an op-ed article featured in the LA Times. This is the first op-ed article written by a Psychological Sciences graduate student.
In the op-ed piece, Jennifer and her coauthors discuss their research findings regarding health disparities in flu vaccinations. Specifically, the authors explain why California Latinos are reluctant to receive flu shots, and highlight the dangers associated with this behavior.
