Assistant Professor Alexandra Main and Professor Deborah Wiebe published a new study investigating the impact of parent-child relationship quality on type 1 diabetes management and depressive symptoms in Latino and Caucasian adolescents. Notably, this study is one of the first to investigate the role of family processes in adolescent type 1 diabetes management among an ethnically diverse sample.
Dr. Main was also coauthor on a new article examining relationships between family contextual factors, effortful control, and early academic achievement among a socioeconomically diverse sample of Chinese American children.
