Professors Shadish, Vevea win Senate Awards

Two Psychological Sciences professors were honored yesterday with awards from the UC Merced Academic Senate. Professor Jack Vevea received the Senate Faculty award for Distinguished Undergraduate Teaching, which recognizes individual excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level. Professor Will Shadish received the Dr. Fred Speiss Award for Distinguished Service to the Academic Senate. This awarded recognizes a faculty member who has performed outstanding service to the Academic Senate and whose contributions have had a major impact on faculty governance. Congratulations to Professors Shadish and Vevea on their well-deserved awards!
