Bio:
Kavya is a doctoral student at the University of California, Merced. She is advised by Dr. Jennifer Hahn-Holbrook. She holds a BS in Psychology (Honours) from Christ University in India and an MA in Positive Health Psychology from Claremont Graduate University, California. Kavya’s research interests focus on the intergenerational transmission of wellbeing during pregnancy. She is interested in how positive phenomena can be downregulated physiologically to promote health for both the pregnant person and their child.
