Bio:
Emily is in the Health Psychology PhD program at the University of California, Merced where she is advised by Dr. Deborah Wiebe. She obtained her BS degree in Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University in 2019 and has worked as a research associate at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and OSF St. Francis Medical Hospital. Emily’s research interests focus on coping with type 1 diabetes across the lifespan. She is interested in the role of social support and technology use in disease management.
