Psychology grad student participates in Graduate Research Advocacy Day

May 1, 2017

Health Psychology graduate student Patty Cabral recently participated in the University of California's 2017 Graduate Research Advocacy Day. Cabral was part of a delegation of UC graduate students who traveled to Sacramento on April 19 to talk about their research, and encourage lawmakers to support UC’s efforts to enroll an additional 900 graduate students. Each campus sent a select number of students to speak to local legislators and she was one of the two from UC Merced chosen to go.
